Why use Microbials for the Challenged calf?
Animals are born free of bacteria and shortly after birth, they begin to pick up bacteria from their surroundings, especially from the mother. As a result, many kinds of bacteria becomes established in the animals gut. Most of these bacteria aid in the digestion of food.. Among the beneficial types are lactic acid producing bacteria which help convert food carbohydrates to lactic acid, a source of energy that helps maintain a slightly acidic condition in the gut. This acidity helps discourage growth of harmful microorganisms.

Calf aid is a non-medicated product. There is no withdrawal period. For best shelf life, store in cool dry place. Not for human consumption. Directions for use Mix 2 level scoops in 2 quarts of warm water, (85° to 95°). Mix thoroughly and feed immediately (not to exceed 5 minutes). Feed this solution twice (2) each day for 1 to 2 days. For oral use only. Do not use on calves with restrictive intestinal conditions. If conditions negative to the calf continue, consult your veterinarian.
